System Requirements

Centralized Licensing
Scalable Processing

License Server

General system recommendations

The License Server doesn’t do any processing; it simply validates the right to run the other callas products. Its requirements are different depending on what variant is used.

License Server SaaS

The License Server SaaS is completely hosted on the resilient AWS platform. The only requirement here is to have Internet access that is fast and reliable enough, as the License Server needs to be contacted for each processed PDF file.

License Server On-premise

Hosted on a single or a triad of three machines, the License Server On-premise is supported on modern Windows, Linux, and macOS computers. The License Server On-premise instances are activated on their respective servers, so they are not compatible with dockerized environments, but can be hosted in other types of virtual environments.
